May 27: Before Ricky Carmichael and Kevin Windham came into the pro ranks, there was Robbie Reynard. Reynard was a prodigy and he quickly proved he could win for Team Kawasaki. But like many motocross stars, injuries would take there toll and Robbie could never again find that speed that put him on top of the box. The one thing that we can all say about Robbie is that he never quit and he has been competing full-time in the Toyota Arenacross series.

May 30: X-treme/Motosport Kawasaki’s Andrew McFarlane had some injuries this year that took him out of the championship hunt in the Monster Energy/AMA Supercross series. McFarlane will be fast in the outdoors this summer and has been getting some extra help from his buddy, Chad Reed.

May 31: In 1974, Gary Semics won the 500cc Supercross Championship for Husqvarna. Semics also got a chance to represent his country in the 1977 Motocross and Trophee des Nations that were held in France and Holland. May 31: No one really new who Rick Burgett was until 1978. Burgett came into the AMA 500cc Nationals and beat Rex Staten by 37 points with six wins on the season to win his first Outdoor Championship.
