Seattle, WA - (May 8, 2008) - The minibike industry is putting together the “Richest Pitbike Race on Earth” with a staggering $20,000 pro purse that pays 10 deep. Mini MX Summer Grand National is shaping up to be the out-door event of the year. The race is being supported by the main companies in the minibike industry and will draw many of the top names in our sport who will be racing for the largest minibike purse ever.

The race is held in conjunction with the $40,000 Privateer MX National (250 & 450) Classes.

“We are hosting Mini MX Summer Grand Nationals and 250 & 450 Privateer Nationals the weekend after Washougal as a way to give privateers and mini racers a shot at some of the largest purses ever.”

BBR/Redline BMX bikes will be given as trophies to the winners of each class!

The rules are the same as MiniMoto SX (Vegas Rules) and the classes are as follows:

Adult Classes, 18 years and older     
      
MM10 Stock/Mod - Vegas Rules  
MM10 SuperStock (88cc / Auto) 
MM10A - Vegas Rules   
MM10E - Vegas Rules  $8500 Purse      
      
MM12 Stock/Mod - Vegas Rules  
MM12A - Vegas Rules   
MM12E - Vegas Rules   $8500 Purse     
      
MM35+ - Vegas Rules (35 or older day of race) 
MMW / Womens - Vegas Rules    
      
MM16A – (2-Valve only - CRF 150, TTR125, KLX140, Etc.)
MM16E – (4-Valve allowed – CRF 150R) $3000 Purse      
      
Kid / Youth Classes, 17 years and younger     
      
MM10K Stock (0-8)     
      
MM10K SuperStock (88cc / Auto) (9-12) 
MM12K Stock/Mod - Vegas Rules (9-12)  
      
MM10Y - Vegas Rules (13-17)   
MM12Y - Vegas Rules (13-17)   
      
TTR110 - Team Relay Race (Details TBA)

The race is being held just outside beautiful Spokane, Washington on August 2nd 2008.  The weather is great in this area in August and there are many fun things to do for the whole family including River Front Park, Silverwood Theme Park, Wild Waters Water Slide Park, and more… Make this your summer vacation getaway.  There are many campgrounds and hotel accommodations in the area and even some camping available right at the track.
