Jason Lawrence Wins Lites West Championship

Valencia, California – Jason Lawrence scored a second place finish in the Supercross “Lites” Main Event at Qwest Field in Seattle, Washington this past Saturday night to capture his first ever Championship as a professional racer, while this is Boost Mobile/Yamaha of Troy’s fifth Supercross Championship.

After beginning the season with zero points at the first round, Lawrence put his head down and focused on just one thing, winning races. And winning races he did. By the time the series reached the sixth and next to last round, Lawrence had worked himself into striking distance of the points leader, and by the end of the night at that sixth round he was in the points lead with a six point cushion. Going into the last round in Seattle this past Saturday night, Lawrence was in complete control, and by the end of the night he was the Champion!
