  • Knight Wins Three in a Row

Hurricane Mills, TN – Red Bull KTM Factory rider David Knight won his third GNCC in a row marking his fourth overall win for the season at the 5th round of the GNCC Series at the Loretta Lynn’s Ranch.

Nathan Kanney

The day started off well for Knight and his Red Bull KTM teammate Nathan Kanney as they both got great starts and were up front early. Knight came around the first turn in 3rd position, but by the time he came around to complete the first lap he had already maneuvered himself into 1st place. Kanney stayed within the top three for the majority of the race.

David Knight

The race was nearly flawless for Knight until roost from a lapper threw a rock up that hit Knight in his throat. The impact of the rock knocked the wind out of Knight which caused him to drop a position which he quickly recovered once he caught his breath. From that point on he pulled forward finishing over a minute ahead of the field. His teammate, Kanney, held on for a respectable 5th place finish.

Justin Williamson

Red Bull KTM rider Justin Williamson put in a notable ride in the XC-2 class. He began with a mediocre start somewhere in the middle of the pack, but consistently continued to pick off riders each lap. By the end of the six lap race he had passed up to 5th where he stayed through the checkered flag. Williamson now sits 5th in XC-2 overall series points. “I was really proud of Justin’s (Williamson) charge through the pack. He made significant progress on each lap to move his KTM forward,” commented Red Bull KTM Off-Road Team Manager Antti Kallonen.
