Motorcycle Industry-Leading Energy Drink Company Steps Up as presenting Sponsor of Ambitious 73-Stop Boost Mobile FreestyleMX.com Tour

CORONA, Calif., April 21, 2008 (PRIME NEWSWIRE) -- Monster Energy announced today that is has hopped on board the nation's most ambitious freestyle motocross contest/demo tour, aligning itself as the presenting sponsor for the 2008 Boost Mobile FreestyleMX.com Tour, presented by Monster Energy, which kicked off this past weekend at the Boost Mobile Night Shift Tour in Austin, Texas.

The 73-stop Boost Mobile FreestyleMX.com Tour, presented by Monster Energy, will hit cities in every corner of the United States, from Hawaii to Maine -- even down to Mexico -- and showcase some of the world's best FMX athletes, along with generous samples of Monster Energy product.

Energy's stable, guys like X Games champions Nate Adams and Kyle Loza, it was a natural for us to get on board with the 2008 Boost Mobile FreestyleMX.com Tour, presented by Monster Energy," said John Lee, Director of Sports Marketing for Monster Energy. In addition to the Monster Energy-backed athletes appearing at select Boost Mobile FreestyleMX.com Tour, presented by Monster Energy, stops, other athletes committed to the tour include: Beau Bamburg, Jimmy "The Mullet" McNeil, Jeremy Lusk, Jeff "OX" Kargola, "Mad Mike" Jones, Chuck "Carolla" Carothers, Myles Richmond, Derek Garland, John Distler, Nixey

Appearing as a stand alone event in some cities, as well as an
enhancement to numerous NASCAR and NHRA events, the Boost Mobile FreestyleMX.com Tour, presented by Monster Energy, will headline state fairs, car shows, rural raceways, casinos, rodeos, hotel and resort events -- even the upcoming 2009 Fiesta Bowl Block Party on New Year's Eve.
