AMA Supercross Class Stats -- Detroit
-First race
March 25, 2006 and James Stewart won on a Kawasaki.
-This will be the third time the gate will drop for an AMA Supercross race in
Detroit.
-Since 2003 Chad Reed has done well at the 14th race of the season, earning three wins, one second and a fourth.
-There have been five different winners this season for only the seventh time in the AMA Supercross history

Wins by Brand at Ford Field
Kawasaki-2
-After 29 seasons and 46 races, the AMA Supercross race was moved from the Pontiac Silverdome to Ford Field in 2006.
-
Pontiac was a main stay on the AMA Supercross schedule from 1976-2005.
-Yamaha won 19 races in
Pontiac
-From 1977 to 1993
Pontiac held Double-header races
-Bob Hannah has a record nine race wins at the Silverdome.
-From 1977-1979 Hannah swept the double headers earning six wins.
-Chad Reed won the last three AMA Supercross races at the Silverdome.
-In 1985, The Silverdome did not host an AMA Supercross race.

AMA Supercross Notables from Dallas
-Yamaha earned their ninth win of the season.
-Reed got his eighth win of the season and the 34th of his career.
-Reed now has six consecutive seasons with at least 10 podium finishes.
-Josh Hill earned his fourth podium of the season, his sixth top five.
-Reed hold the most wins at Texas Stadium with four.
-Davi Millsaps earned his seventh podium of the season.

AMA Supercross Lites Stats – Detroit
-First race,
March 25, 2006 and Josh Grant won on a Honda.
-Ryan Dungey won on a Suzuki in 2007.
