The Minnesota native is currently in a points battle for the West Coast Lites Supercross Championship and has been racing in the Supercross class on the RMZ 450 during the break in the (West) schedule. We will check in with him and talk about the Supercross season as we are getting closer to the final rounds.

Matt Mladin, Champion Superbike Racer - Rockstar Makita Yoshimura Suzuki

There is no other road racer quite like Rockstar Makita Yoshimura Suzuki's Mat Mladin. The 36-year-old Australian is the only rider to ever win six AMA Superbike Championships. He has the most AMA Superbike race wins in a single season with 12 victories in 2007 and he is the first rider to ever take all of the AMA Superbike pole positions (in this case, 10) in one year, with his career total being 52. Finally, Mladin has the most AMA Superbike career victories with an amazing 63 wins.
In spite of these accolades, Mladin is matter-of-fact about his goals for the 2008 AMA Superbike racing season. "Go out and go hard," he announced. "That's it. The championship and everything else will get sorted out at the end of the season."
