Glen Helen Hillclimb Entries Now Open
National Motorcycle Series hits San Bernadino, CA April 26-27
San Bernadino, CA. – The N.A.H.A. officially opened registration on www.glenhelenHC.com for round 2 of the Racer X Suzuki N.A.H.A. Pro Hillclimb Series taking place at Glen Helen Raceway Park, April 26th & 27th in San Bernadino, CA. In addition to the 451-700 and Open Exhibition classes, there is also a class for 251-450cc machines that allows production-based bikes to compete. "This class was introduced last year and it was a big hit," said Troy Scott, N.A.H.A. board member. "We get a lot of local riders who want to come out and try their hand against the national-level pros. We have a feeling that this class will only grow and we expect to see a lot of motocross and off-road riders try their hand at hillclimbing this year."
This is only the second time in 20 years that a professional hillclimb event has been held in Southern California and true to form is already proving to be a buzz in the off-road world. "Its going to te be amazing with all these cross over guy's comming out" Said current World Champion Robie Perterson of Brea, CA. "We should see some amazing talent attemting this hill."
Qualifying will begin at 9am on Saturday and the National will run from 9am-5pm on Sunday.
The country's best Nitro-burning motorcycle riders will make their way to this event from all parts of the country.
