FMF Racing’s Chad Johnson began his title hunt last November in Iowa, and this past weekend in Green Bay’s Resch Center he has achieved his goal by winning the 2008 Toyota AMA Arenacross Championship.
Armed with FMF’s Factory 4.1 muffler and Megabomb header, Johnson showed blazing speed and consistency all year and last weekend in Green bay it paid off. Johnson finished a solid third place on Friday night, which wrapped up the championship with another night of racing still remaining. To say the least, Johnson was thrilled to wrap up the championship early in front of his hometown, “It’s hard to put into words how great I feel right now,” said Johnson. “All the hard work over the summer to prepare for this year paid off. And the last-minute deal Dave Antolak put together to get me on the Bad Boy/TUF/Honda team was also a big help. Winning it a night early, in front of my family and friends here in Wisconsin just made it that much better.” FMF would like to congratulate Chad Johnson along with the entire Bad Boy/Tuf/Honda Team on a well deserved championship!
