  • Inside Line Experience Available at Toronto and Seattle

AURORA, Ill. (March 4, 2008) – Monster Energy® AMA Supercross, an FIM World Championship, announced today the return of the Inside Line Experience fundraising drive to benefit in the fight against hydrocephalus to the Toronto and Seattle tour stops in 2008. Joining forces for this great cause in Toronto will be Torco Fuels Honda’s Kevin Windham and Cernic’s Kawasaki’s Dusty Klatt and Jeff Gibson.

MX for Children has set a 2008 fundraising goal of $145,000 in Toronto and Seattle respectively. The funds are dedicated to research for hydrocephalus – the #1 cause of brain surgery in kids. The Inside Line Experience rewards the top 10 individual fundraisers with a VIP meet and greet with top supercross racers, a tour of factory rigs, a walk of the track and premium seating. Considered the quintessential all-access pass, these top fundraisers will enjoy the ultimate supercross fan experience where they actually share one-on-one time with the heroes of AMA Supercross.

“We are thrilled with the amount of industry support that MX for Children has received over the last year,” said Paul Gross, MX for Children founder.  “We are setting our sights higher this year with the goal of raising $145,000 for Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) and the Children’s Hospital with our two events.”

The event in Toronto will benefit world-renowned SickKids, and in Seattle, the event will benefit Children’s Hospital & Regional Medical Center.

To preview the weekend’s race and to kick off Monster Energy® Supercross’ arrival in the city of Seattle, top racers will visit Children’s Hospital & Regional Medical Center on Thursday Noon (PST). In addition to spending quality time with the kids at the hospital, the racers will treat the top fundraisers for the event to an exclusive photo and autograph session as part of the Inside Line Experience.

The first-ever Inside Line Experience took place in 2005 in Seattle where Team Yamaha and Team Suzuki helped raise $40,000 for MX for Children. In total, more than $153,000 has been raised to help children’s hospitals. Legendary supercross racers such as Chad Reed, James Stewart, Ricky Carmichael, Ryan Villopoto, Tim Ferry, Davi Millsaps, Andrew Short and Ivan Tedesco have participated in the Inside Line Experience.

Pledge forms can be picked up and raffle tickets may be purchased at participating Suzuki dealers in Seattle or online at the official website http://www.mxforchildren.org.
