  • Team Sho-Air Partners with Ryan Dungey

March 3, 2008, Huntington Beach, CA -Team Sho-Air is pleased to announce the signing of SX Lites star Ryan Dungey as an “Honorary Member” to Sho-Air’s nationally recognized amateur MTB team. Team Sho-Air will be providing Ryan with team cycling apparel and a Specialized S-Works Epic mountain bike for his training and racing. Team Sho-Air captain and Ryan’s mentor Johnny O’Mara have created an unbelievable training regiment for this year’s 2008 Lites campaign and mountain biking is a big part of that program. When and if his schedule permits Ryan will race for team Sho-Air aboard his Specialized S-Works Epic, which he uses primarily for training purposes.

“We are really excited to be associated with a good kid like Ryan. He has a great work ethic and is somebody we wanted to help out” says Ty Kady Sho-Air’s MTB team manager. “I watched him out a local mountain bike race where he was training a couple of weeks ago and it just blew my mind how fit he was! He ran away with the 18 and under Expert class and then proceeded to run down the older Expert divisions and Semi-Pro division in his first race ever! Anyone who knows anything about cycling can tell you that just don’t happen very often. Add to the fact we have Johnny O riding for us and it was a no brain-er to bring Dungey onboard and put him on some of the team’s racing equipment.”
