Racer X Illustrated editor and Troy Lee Designs/Red Bull Honda rider David Pingree was headed for what seemed to be a sure championship in the AMA Hot Wheels Supermoto series until he high-sided coming out of a turn and ended up on the dirt with two broken arms in the second to the last round of the series in Redmond, Oregon. We decided to give Ping a call and see how his recovery is coming along and talk about what he has been doing to stay in shape for the final round of the series. In this interview he talks about training back in his Pro Circuit days, how training has evolved over the years, and even dishes the dirt on performance enhancing drug use in motocross.
