FUNCHAL, 27 November 2007- On request of several FIM Motocross World Championship Teams, who have already started their preparation for the 2008 season, Youthstream publishes the first update of the 2008 List with the Riders’ numbers.
The riders interested in the World Championship MX1 and MX2, whose name does not appear on the list, can contact Mr. Marc Pauwels via e-mail at sportoffice@youthstream.org in order to obtain their 2008 number.
Also the Riders of the World Championship MX3, the Women’s Motocross World Championship and the Veteran World Cup can contact Marc Pauwels to know their 2008 number.
Of course the allocation of a 2008 Rider number does not automatically mean that the Rider in question will appear on the Entry List of the Championship concerned.
The Rider needs to comply with the official Entry Procedure and requirements as mentioned in the 2008 FIM Rules, in order to be accepted as a candidate for the participation in the class indicated by the Rider.
Based upon the list of candidates, Youthstream will establish the Entry List per class for the MXGP concerned.
