Team DNA Energy Drink / BTOSports / Rick Case Honda rider Brandon Butler broke his right thumb testing this past week in Florida. Brandon is one of the team's '08 450 riders and he will most likely miss the first two rounds of the 2008 AMA Supercross season. Dr. Augustine from the ASMF will be operating on Butler tomorrow morning in Jacksonville, Florida, to help get him back on the bike as soon as possible.
"BB had just started testing and was looking good when he clipped the top of a step up with his back tire," says team owner and brother Forrest Butler. "He got off the bike OK, but then the bike came down and crushed his hand, breaking his thumb and leaving a nasty gash between two of his fingers. It was just one of those things, but he should be back and healed up pretty quickly."
