Things To Do In...San Diego
This week the Amp’d Mobile Supercross Series heads to the Southwest corner of the United States and into San Diego’s Qualcomm Stadium for round seven of the ’07 series. This is the final round of supercross for the Golden State, so here are some tips on getting the most out of your trip to California’s second-largest city.
San Diego Zoo
It’s the 90th birthday for the world famous San Diego Zoo, and this is one attraction you can’t miss: The zoo is open every day of the year. General admission tickets will cost you $22 for ages 12 and older, but you can get discounted rates on children. For more information, check out www.sandiegozoo.org. It’s a cool way to spend an afternoon in San Diego.
SeaWorld
If you’re into fish, check out SeaWorld. There are only three locations in the United States, and one of them is here in San Diego. (DC took Vance there last month and reported that Shamu is alive and well.) For more information, check out www.seaworld.com.
LegoLand
You have to admit, everyone loves Legos! So if you’re in town, be sure to check out LegoLand! LEGOLAND® California is located at One LEGOLAND Drive, just off Interstate 5, in the seaside village of Carlsbad, 30 minutes north of San Diego and one hour south of Anaheim. San Diego Maritime Museum
This museum has a renowned reputation for it’s amazing vessels. If you’re into ships, you have to pay this place a visit. The museum is open from 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Visit www.sdmaritime.com.

Old Town
This is where San Diego started. Lots of Mexican restaurants, shops and bars. Take the Old Town Avenue Exit from the I-5. Check it out here.

Shopping, food, night life, malls, etc. Right downtown with lots of cool places to hang out—day or night.
