Team Babbitt’s Monster Energy Kawasaki Rider Extends Points Lead
IRVINE , Calif. (January 27, 2007) – Team Babbitt’s Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Darcy Lange continued his winning ways with three class wins at the BooKoo Arenacross at the Lazy E Arena in Guthrie, Okla. With the victories, Lange now has 20 wins on the season and extended his lead in the standings to a series dominating 111 points.
On Friday, Lange rode his KX250F and KX450F to the top spot, capturing wins in the 250 and 450 classes. He followed that up a night later with another win in the 250 class and a second in the 450 division.
With only two rounds remaining on the season, Lange has put himself in excellent position for the BooKoo Arenacross Championship, which is the series’ top award given to the rider that accumulates the most combined points from the 250 and 450 classes.
