  • MDK Speed Equipment: 3 holeshots and 7 podiums

San Jose, CA – January 23, 2007 – MDK Speed Equipment had another break-through weekend with hole-shots and a podium at Anaheim 2. Nick Wey powered into the early lead in the 450 Main and won the hole-shot award. Nyk went on to finish a strong third with another outstanding ride and a spot on the podium. Team MB-1/Fox/Deluge MDK SE equipped racers Kyle Partridge & Daniel Sani took hole-shots in their heat races in the Lites class and then earned spots in the main event. In all, eight riders on MDK SE motors were in the main event for the Lites and Premier class at Supercross Anaheim 2 this weekend. Not only was MDK Speed Equipment in the show, but they were also on the podium.

“The MDK SE motor is really delivering the dynamic power that fits my needs and riding style. It is good to be getting hole-shots, and I know MDK Speed Equipment is a big part of that,” said Nick Wey, MDK Racing 450 Pro Class rider.

At the BooKoo Arenacross series in Fort Wayne Indiana this weekend, MDK Speed Equipment riders Tyler Bowers and Zach Ames had six podiums between them with Bowers taking the top spot on the podium with a first in the 250 class on Friday night.

Tim Bowers, MDK Speed Equipment AX team manager, said, “the MDK SE performance is outstanding, Tyler Bowers, even at 190lbs, can push his MDK SE Honda 250 around the first turn in first place. Fort Wayne had a long initial straightaway and Tyler’s ability to lead the hole-shot says a lot about the power output from the MDK SE motors.”
