Motorcycle Mechanics Institute (MMI) Announced as Supercross Team Sponsor

MMI Mechanics Internship Program Created

Newbury Park, CA.  Wonder Warthog Racing (WWR) is pleased to announce that the Motorcycle Mechanics Institute (MMI) will be a major sponsor of the Synergy Racing Technologies/Wonder Warthog team for 2007.  MMI, in conjunction with the team, will create a program to provide Intern mechanics in support of race team efforts.

MMI, long time supporter of Supercross and official technical institute of the AMA Supercross series, is continuing its mission of training and employing motorcycle mechanics.  Through the MMI Internship program, MMI students and graduates will be placed in a real race team environment

Said Darrell Saldana, Race Team Director, “We are excited about joining up with a company as dedicated to the sport and as successful as MMI.  We see this as a great opportunity utilize their talented students.”

The team, known as MDK/Lucas Oil/Yamaha, will be visiting the Phoenix and Orlando MMI campuses during the season in order to familiarize MMI students the operations of a race team.
