  • DMXS Tonight!

Davi Millsaps broke his femur a few weeks ago but is well on his way to a full-recovery. They actually used an entire racehorse leg-bone-graft which happened to be the exact same size as the husky Georgian’s femur. This new but controversial procedure should have Davi up and on his hoof, or feet, in no time. Davi will join us tonight for an update on when he expects to be back in the saddle. Ok. That is enough.

It’s time for AX and we have a full show lined up to preview both series. Mike Kidd’s upstart BooKoo Championship Series is back for round two with a ton of fresh and exciting updates for both the fans and riders. "Mikey the Kidd" will break it all down tonight.

Pat "Shoots and Scores" Schutte is a long time friend of the show and handles the PR for the Toyota AMA AX Series through his company, High Profile Public Relations. Pat will have the lowdown on their series including the revolutionary concept for the Lites division that will be split into four regions and crown four different champions.

Tyler Bowers has been an amateur phenom and well known in those circles for many years, but the 15-year-old will introduce himself to the world in the BooKoo Series as a rider on the MDK Racing/MDK Speed Equipment race team. Tyler missed out on racing at Loretta’s while recovering from an injury but those that have watched him race over the years expect him to be competitive right out of the gate. You will hear directly from the young sensation tonight.

Josh Woods has a storied career in this sport that includes many accomplishments but many injuries as well. Josh has overcome a lot over the last two seasons but comes into the BooKoo Series healthy and ready to contend for a title on his Fun Center/Suzuki/MSR/FMF ride. We look forward to hearing from our Southern neighbor tonight.

AMA Sports Motocross Manager, Ryan Holliday, has been fielding many calls after the AMA sent down a ton of new rule changes last month that affects nearly every level of amateur racing. Ryan is kind enough to join us for a town-hall meeting tonight to clear up any confusion and answer the most commonly asked questions regarding the rule changes and his thoughts on the midterm elections next week.

We met Shawn DeCloedt through his efforts to assist James Marshall following his injury and have been friends ever since. Shawn’s kindness and countless volunteer hours helping James, and again for the David Bailey Extravaganza, represents the best our sport has to offer. Shawn has taken on a new gig at MX Sponsor and will join us to discuss the affordable service to line riders up with potential sponsors.
