Makita Suzuki and Pro Taper Go Three More!

Corona CA.- For the next three years you will be seeing Team Makita Suzuki using only Pro Taper handlebars on their Factory machines.  Ricky Carmichael, Ivan Tedesco and Lites protégé’ Ryan Dungey will be using Pro Taper products as they take on the 2007 Supercross season.

The Factory Suzuki race team has been using Pro Taper handlebars on their machines since 1991. Team Suzuki has had numerous championships with Pro Taper. Damon Huffman, Tim Ferry, Travis Pastrana, Branden Jesseman and of course the Ricky Carmichael…Greatest Of All Time, (The G.O.A.T.) has been won seven titles using Pro Taper products.

Roger DeCoster’s decision to stay with our brand was based on the integrity of our product.” Said Erick “Big E” Bartoldus Pro Taper’s marketing manger. “Having the greatest rider of all time putting our products to the test for the last few years has been a highlight for our brand. We look forward to equaled success with the rest of Makita Suzuki for the next three years,” added Bartoldus. “Roger DeCoster Team Makita Suzuki’s team manger said, “At Team Makita Suzuki, we make our choice based on performance. That is why we are staying with Pro Taper Bars.”

2007 will mark 17th consecutive year Team Suzuki has been using Pro Taper handlebars.
