The original Team USA winners: LaPorte, Hansen, O’Mara, and Sun.
As you certainly know by now, AMA Team USA presented by Loretta Lynn’s won the 2006 Fox Motocross des Nations in England this weekend. It marked the Americans seventeenth win since 1981, breaking the all-time record previously held by England. The greatest names in modern American motocross—from the ’81 quartet of Danny LaPorte, Donnie Hansen, Chuck Sun, and Johnny O’Mara to ’06 heroes James Stewart, Ivan Tedesco, and Ryan Villopoto—were part of this record-breaking effort, as you will see in the following list:
