TFS is reporting that former Yamaha factory rider David Vuillemin is joining forces with Nick Wey on the MDK Honda team for the next two years, with two-time AMA 125 National Champ Steve Lamson as the team manager. Vuillemin put in a solid summer as a privateer on the Motoworld Racing.com Yamaha team but was considering a return to Europe for an MX1 deal. There was also talk of a spot on the Red Bull KTM team, but because of the AMA's new rules on Lites' class eligibility, Vuillemin must race the 450 in AMA Amp'd Mobile Supecross, which led him to the Mark Kvamme-owned MDK team.
