Team Green Celebrates its 25th Anniversary at Loretta's
“With an event like Loretta's and a history like Team Green's, we wanted to do something special for all the riders and families for our 25th anniversary celebration,” says Reid Nordin, Team Green Manager. “Thursday night's activities will provide everyone a small glimpse of the 25 years of Kawasaki's amateur race support along with some high energy positive alternative music”
The Thursday night celebration is open to everyone. Kawasaki has hired a live band. “Skillet,” to perform, and the evening will feature the debut of a special 25 Years of Team Green DVD. Team Green founders Dave Jordan and Sandra Yarnell will make an appearance, as will many of the top riders from throughout the history of the program, including the first two Team Green riders ever, Billy Liles and Keith Turpin. Even the original Team Green technicians, Steve Ransbotham and Greg Quidor, will be there.
Kawasaki wants everyone to get in on the fun, so they’re raffling off custom KLX110s – complete with custom chrome plastic. The event takes place at the Amsoil Arena at 8 p.m. Thursday night.
