DC just called Ben Townley down in Florida to see if the report he saw on Mototalk was true and that Ben had a broken collarbone. Turns out the report was only half right--Ben separated his shoulder! The Monster Energy Pro Circuit Kawasaki rider, who was out for nine months before finishing third in the second moto at Red Bud, is now looking at approximately six more weeks on the sidelines. The 2004 MX2 World MX Champion says he will probably head home to New Zealand to heal up, meaning that his outdoor season might be over.
