After a disappointing round 3 and 4, we were really excited to get to Detroit and get back into racing. The whole team had spent some serious time restructuring our strategy and preparing our equipment for the weekend. I really felt it paid off and the weekend turned out like this...

Summary
It was a successful day for us, in the final I got a great start but got hit in the first corner which caused me to run wide. I worked my way from 7th up till 5th, I felt there was still a little more in me but wanted to settle for a good result after my last two DNF's in round 3 and 4.
