The Toyota 20
As we inch closer to the 2006 Air Nautiques AMA Amateur National Championships at Loretta Lynn's, the TMX Toyota Athlete Program is off and running. For those who aren't familiar, TMX is designed to support motocross on a grassroots level by helping riders move forward from the amateur ranks to the professional level. The opportunity to earn a ride with the Motoworld Racing.com PPG Yamaha team, a Toyota sponsorship and brand-new Toyota Tundra for 2007 is in the balance, and the list of eligible riders has been narrowed down to 20 of the nation's best amateurs in the country. So as the big race nears, we've decided to highlight "The Toyota 20" in the upcoming weeks. For more information on the program, check out the www.ridetmx.com.

The first of the 20 riders is Billing, Missouri's Jimmy Albertson. Jimmy is competing in the 125 A and 125 A/Pro Sport division at Loretta Lynn's, and besides winning, his goal is to win the AMA Horizon Award. You can view his TMX Profile right here.
