Larry Roeseler Returns to Kawasaki's Team Green
Irvine, Calif. (March 27, 2006) – Larry Roeseler, legendary off-road
motorcycle racer and multi-time SCORE Baja 1000 overall winner is
returning to Kawasaki’s Team Green program as its official ambassador
to the off-road community.
In his renewed relationship, Roeseler, 48, will be involved with
testing of future off-road products, public relations for high-profile
off-road events and will serve as a media contact for off-road
publications. He will also provide consultation to Kawasaki management
regarding off-road event promotions.
“Larry has a tremendous amount of experience in all disciplines
necessary to effectively promote and improve Kawasaki’s participation
the off-road community,” said Reid Nordin, Kawasaki’s Team Green
Manager. “We are pleased to bring Larry back to Kawasaki on behalf of
all who support Team Green and everyone involved.”
Roeseler was already a prominent motorcycle racer when he began his
relationship with Kawasaki as a Team Green racer in 1987. He is a
10-time SCORE Baja 1000 overall winner, 12-time Baja 500 overall winner
and 10-time ISDE gold medalist. Roeseler also has numerous AMA off-road
titles including AMA National Hare and Hound and AMA National enduro.
Roeseler retired from motorcycle racing in 1994 and continues to race
sophisticated off-road cars in the SCORE Baja 1000 and Baja 500 events.
Roeseler was recognized for his many motorcycling achievements in 1999
by being inducted into the AMA Hall of Fame.
“I can’t wait to get started,” Roeseler said. “I’ve been racing all my
life, so it’s an honor for me to be able to work with Kawasaki and Team
Green. I am confident that I can continue to expand and improve Team
Green’s off-road programs and presence. I hope to make the experience
more enjoyable for everyone from competitors and sponsors to the media,
event organizers and fans.”
