Boniface out with broken scapula

BooKoo Honda's Steve Boniface is out indefinitely after breaking his scapula in a frightening crash while leading the Atlanta 250F main event last weekend at the Georgia Dome. The French rider passed Josh Grant and Josh Hansen for the lead, only to crash that same lap and be landed on by the Red Bull KTM of Hansen. Boniface will be flying to Indianapolis tomorrow for an appearance with his team, then back to France for rehabilitaion. The team hopes to have him back by the start of the Toyota AMA Motocross Nationals.
