General Letter Regarding James Marshall

  • General Letter Regarding James Marshall

We received this note earlier today:

Hello Friends:  As most of you are aware. James Marshall was badly hurt qualifying for the SanDiego Supercross 2 weeks ago. James suffered a broken neck. He is in hospital in San Diego. Currently his condition is stable, however he has tubes in his nose and mouth and can only move a couple fingers very weakly. I can not imagine how scared he must feel. There is still extensive swelling in his spine that is putting pressure on his spinal cord. I have turned over my Ebay store to raise funds for James. Many of you, Lotus from Troy Lee and many more have stepped up big to help raise funds for James. The James Marshall relief fund auction has been a huge hit. Many industry sponsors have been so much help. Riverside Yamaha-Suzuki James`s team from 2004 have also really been supportive. My wife Laurie and I have donated about 20+ jerseys and autographed items we have collected. I thank all of you for supporting our efforts. The problem I am having is now that many of the auction items have been bid on and expired.

I am quickly running out of items to raise money for James. If anybody privately or as a company related or un related to this industry has an item to donate for this cause, please let me know. This cause is close to home for us as James was a guest in our home for the summer of 2004. He also made alot of friends here in Alberta as well as the U.S. He is a great kid and we are committed to help. We can use anything from helmets to signed jerseys, bike stands ect...A.s.a.p.

If you can offer anything to help , we are forever grateful. This is how we are doing it.

The direct link; JAMESAUCTION@MXSPONSOR.COM

We need:

a) pictures of item with description.
b) your name or company.
c) logos if you have them.
d) your wishes to James.

I will post all the above. Payment goes direct to
JAMESFUND@MXSPONSOR.COM

It has been set up for James and family through road to recovery.
If you want to go in direct and see the auction you can go to http://stores.ebay.ca/AUTOGRAPHED-MOTOCROSS-JERSEYS

Thanks so much, all of you for your help. Let`s give James a helping hand.

P.s. All donation items will be shipped directly from the donor to the winning bidder.
