Heath Voss out for Atlanta Supercross

Cypress, CA (February 24, 2006) - - For the second consecutive
week, Yamaha Factory rider Heath Voss will not be competing in AMA
Supercross series. Voss, the 2003 World Supercross Champion, was
injured when he was landed on by another rider during a qualifying race
at the San Diego Supercross.
Heath had sets his sights on a return at this weekend's Atlanta round
but the injuries to his hand and wrist have not yet completely
healed. Voss and Team Yamaha have determined that the best course
of action would be to have Voss' condition improve for another week and
hopefully be 100% by the Indianapolis Supercross on March 4.
