Motel 6 Makes Planning Trips Easier for Motor Sports Fans

Motor sports fans can now easily find Motel 6 locations near all major racing events

Carrollton, TX (February 21, 2006) - Motel 6, the largest corporately owned and operated hotel chain in North America, announced today the launch of the Motel 6 Motor Sports Trip Planner, a special Motel 6 Web site feature designed to help motor sports fans plan trips to racing events across the country.

The Motel 6 Motor Sports Trip Planner offers motor sports fans a database with schedules for all major motor sports races along with listings of the closest Motel 6 properties to the corresponding racing venue. For those taking a road trip to a racing event, the Trip Planner also provides directions to the venue and highlights Motel 6 locations along the way. The database allows motor sports fans to search for racing events by date, state and series.
