Suzuki GNCC Series Spawns Revolutionary Racer TV Package
Outdoor Life Network to host three-days of racing every week beginning April 1st
Morgantown, WV – On April 1, 2006, Racer Productions and Gear Media and Marketing Inc. will launch a comprehensive new television package on the Outdoor Life Network. Dubbed Racer TV (RTV), the program will air three days a week on OLN and include coverage from every round of the Suzuki GNCC Series, the Air Nautiques Amateur Motocross Nationals from Loretta Lynn’s and the ITP/Moose ATVA National Motocross Series for ATVs.
“Last year’s OLN package of the GNCC Series and the Amateur Nationals from Loretta’s went so well that we were able to expand for 2006,” said Racer Production’s Jeff Russell. “It was hard work, but we captured the action and the atmosphere from GNCC Racing and from Loretta’s. There’s never been a better way to catch racing on TV!”
The shows are hosted by Jason Weigandt and Rodney Tomblin, with MTV personality Susie Meister handling pit reporting and features. GNCC Racing will air twice a week with the ATVA National MX Series airing once each week. Racer TV will take a short summer break while OLN airs the Tour de France, and then will return with coverage from the AMA/Air Nautiques Amateur Nationals from Loretta Lynn’s.
The opening round of the Suzuki GNCC Series will air on Saturday April 1st, at 3:00 p.m. and will repeat on Wednesday April 5th at 3:00 p.m. The opening round of the ITP/Moose ATVA MX Nationals from Glen Helen Raceway will air on Thursday April 6th, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. and will repeat at a later date.
The 2006 Suzuki Grand National Cross Country Series kicks off during Daytona Bike Week with the Orange Crush GNCC in De Leon Springs, FL, on March 4 – 7, 2006. For more information log on to GNCCRacing.com.
