Bench Racing Ammo: Supercross A.C. (After California)

  • Bench Racing Ammo: Supercross A.C. (After California)

The 2006 San Diego Supercross really put an exclamation point on the end of the Amp’d Mobile Supercross Series’ run throughout the state of California. Aside from the second round of the series, held in Phoenix, the other five events were held in Anaheim (x3), San Francisco, and San Diego, giving the California faithful more action than they probably bargained for, which isn’t a bad thing—unless you live in, say, Boston.
As Ricky Carmichael has said in the past, he just wants to get out of California in one piece, and heading back east with the points lead is always an added bonus. In 2006, the Makita Suzuki rider is healthy and has an 11-point lead over Team Kawasaki’s James Stewart after the two Fox-clad Floridians split wins out west with three apiece.
For this installment of Motosport Outlet Bench Racing Ammo, we put together a comprehensive list of statistics from the premier class in the “2006 California Supercross Series.” Enjoy!
