  • WMXF Hosts Third Annual Luncheon

All proceeds go to benefit motocross/supercross community

Corona, Calif. (January 16, 2006) - The Women's Motocross/Supercross Foundation (WMXF), a group whose goal is to raise money for various industry not-for-profit organizations, will hold its third annual luncheon this Friday, January 20.  While the WMXF is open to any and all women associated with supercross or motocross, the luncheon is also open to anyone who has an interest in helping support the sport.

When: Friday, January 20 (Anaheim II). Doors open at 10:30 am; Lunch served at 12:00 pm

Where: Orange Hill Restaurant (just 8 miles from Anaheim Stadium)
6410 E. Chapman Avenue, Orange, CA
              714-997-2910

What: Come enjoy a great lunch, bid on fabulous silent auction items and shop the marketplace. Vendors will be selling one-of-a kind jewelry, clothing, home décor items, baby items, products from the Paw Spa and much more.

New this year is the opportunity for a company or individual to sponsor a table for $100.  The table sponsor will be responsible for providing the table centerpieces and is welcome to invite friends or business associates to fill the ten spots at their table.   And since the WMXF is a non-profit organization, the sponsorship is tax deductible.

The WMXF is comprised entirely of volunteer members connected with the professional supercross/motocross industry. Since its inception, the WMXF has divvied out nearly $60,000 to support the Asterisk Mobile Medical Unit, injured privateer racers and others within the motocross community. Check out more about the WMXF at www.wmxf.org.
