Racer X Illustrated Backs New GNCC Holeshot Award for 2006
$1300 up for grabs in 2006
Morgantown, WV - Racer X Illustrated has stepped up to create the
first-ever Racer X GNCC Holeshot Award. At each 2006 Suzuki Grand
National Cross Country Pro Bike event, Racer X will award $100 to the
pro rider who grabs the holeshot in Sunday afternoon's bike event.
"We love helping the riders out, whether it's with the Racer X Gas Card
in Amp'd Mobile Supercross, Team USA at the Motocross des Nations, or
the new GNCC Holeshot Award," said Davey Coombs of Racer X. "The GNCC
starts are always exciting-dead-engine start, the countdown, the fans
screaming for their favorite riders-and this award should help make
things a little more interesting: Get the holeshot and you get the
money!"
In addition, Racer X will increase its coverage of Suzuki GNCC Racing
in 2006 with a new magazine section titled "Quick Fill." Quick Fill
will be contained in the Racerhead news portion of each issue,
providing news and stories from the GNCC tour. The new section will
give GNCC racers and teams a whole new level of exposure in 2006.
Racer Productions is currently soliciting potential ATV sponsors for an
ATV Holeshot Award. Interested companies can email info@gnccracing.com.
America's largest off-road racing series, 2006 Suzuki Grand National
