Four-hour Live Broadcast from Angel Stadium in Anaheim Saturday Morning

AURORA, Ill. (January 5, 2006) – Amp’d Mobile World Supercross GP/ Amp’d Mobile AMA Supercross Series announced today a promotional partnership with Fox Sports Radio Network (FSRN) to become the official radio network of the opening domestic Amp’d Mobile Supercross race at Anaheim, California’s  Angel Stadium on Saturday, January 7.

As the official radio network of the opening domestic Amp’d Mobile Supercross race at Angel Stadium in Anaheim, Calif., FSRN will broadcast live for four hours inside the Angel Stadium pits Saturday morning.  Fox Game Time Live hosts Craig Shemon and James Washington (two-time Super Bowl champion) will bring their national show to the Amp’d Mobile Supercross pits from 9am-1pm PST.

“We are thrilled to have the live radio broadcast commitment from Fox Game Time Live show on the Fox Sports Radio Network in conjunction with the opening domestic round of Amp’d Mobile World Supercross GP/ Amp’d Mobile AMA Supercross Series Saturday morning,” said Ken Hudgens, vice president of marketing, Amp’d Mobile Supercross.  “With the addition of over 220 radio stations nationwide to our already existing live webcast (Supercross LIVE!), SPEED cable partnership, and CBS network partnership, Amp’d Mobile Supercross is now being heard through more mediums than ever before.”

Syndicated to over 220 stations nationwide, Fox Game Time Live focuses their sports talk radio show format on all sports, and recently has crossed over to the world of action sports as FSRN was the official radio network of the 2005 Dew Action Sports Tour.

“Adding Amp’d Mobile Supercross to our growing roster of action sports is a great accomplishment for the Fox Sports Radio Network and our 220+ affiliates nationwide,” said Andrew Ashwood, VP/ GM – executive producer, Fox Sports Radio Network.  “There is a rich history with the sport of supercross that expands both domestically and internationally, and we are very proud to be a part of the next evolution of the sport on nationally syndicated radio.”

Fans can be a part of Fox Game Time Live, live from the Angel Stadium pits in Anaheim, by showing up early Saturday to watch the nationally syndicated radio broadcast from 9am-1pm PST.  The four-hour live radio broadcast will be loaded with supercross content including interviews with the sport’s top riders Ricky Carmichael, James Stewart, and Chad Reed.
