Riders wear helmets to prevent head injuries, but for some reason most riders don’t start wearing knee braces until they’ve already hurt their knees a few times. EVS wants to encourage knee-brace use for injury prevention, so they make the Vision brace, which costs just $250 per pair. All the good features are there, like dual-pivot aluminum hinges that imitate the flexion and extension motions of the knee, and sharkskin neoprene to make them more comfortable. At that price, it’s worth getting them and hoping you’ll never notice that you needed them in the first place. Call EVS at 800-229-4387.
