DC Shoes, the leader in performance skateboarding shoes, will sponsor the Nokia Air N Style Winter Games in Munich, Germany. Recently relocated from Austria to the Olympic Stadium in Munich, the event will be held on 03 December 2005 and will host almost 30.000 spectators at the Munich Olympic Stadium.

The inimitable mix of the world’s best snowboarders, freestyle motocross and top music acts characterize the Nokia Air & Style Games 05 as the unique event of its kind. On the day, DC’s Star Athletes Travis Rice in Snowboarding and Nate Adams in Motocross will be out to win.

This new alliance brings together one of the industry's largest action sports companies with the largest action sports event, and marks a three-year commitment from DC Shoes.

In partnering with the Nokia Air N Style Winter Games, the two brands will begin a mutually beneficial arrangement that will kick off the winter season with the launch of DC’s new snow product range of snowboard boots and outerwear, DC,s international snowboarding ,FMX and skateboarding athletes.

The event will also serve as an integral and centralized European location to entertain and provide hospitality for DC’s key distributors and their retail partners.

“We are proud to sponsor the Nokia Air N Style event.” said DC President and Co-founder Ken Block. ”I have known this event to be one of the best international snowboard competitions for many years.   It’s a great opportunity for DC to be apart of a snowboard event that has a lot of history and fame worldwide and it shows our new global approach to marketingour brand with high end events world wide.”
