Racer X has confirmed that Troy Adams, who was just getting
started with his new Monster Energy/Pro Circuit Kawasaki ride, suffered
a broken femur yesterday while practicing at the Kawasaki test track in
California. Adams underwent surgery last night to have a rod placed in
his leg.
According to OMS, the agency that represents him, it was a clean
break and Adams rested well last night after the surgery. No word yet
on how long he will be out.
Everyone here wishes Troy a full and speedy recovery.
