For the third time in as many seasons, Fredrik Noren will get an opportunity with HRC Honda. The team announced today that Noren would fill-in for the injured Cole Seely for the final three rounds of Lucas Oil Pro Motocross.
Currently riding for Rocky Mountain ATV/MC Honda, Noren will begin his third fill-in stint with the team at Round 10 at Unadilla on August 13.
“I’m happy to get another chance to fill in with Team Honda HRC,” Noren said in a statement. “The relationship I have with Honda is awesome. Everyone on the racing team is great, and I’m very thankful for the opportunities they’ve given me. I’m looking forward to giving my best effort and to working together with the team to keep improving.”
Noren is coming off his first moto top ten of the season at Washougal where he finished eighth in the second moto. Through nine rounds, the Swede has twelve top fifteen finishes and is currently seventh in 450MX points.
Team manager Dan Betley added: “We’re excited to have Freddie back under our tent. We have a longstanding relationship with him, so he understands our bike and program, which has been a big asset to our team over the years. I’m confident in his ability to deliver solid results through the final rounds of the season. I’d also like to thank Rocky Mountain MC Honda for making Freddie available to us.”
