Bel-Ray Racing-Weekend Preview

FARMINGDALE, NJ – Bel-Ray Company, Inc.– Motocross racing takes precedent this weekend as Bel-Ray’s teams of professional racers will do battle in the United States, Canada and Australia.
TwoTwo Motorsports / Bel-Ray Racing’s Chad Reed was the darling of the international media this past weekend. His spectacular crash in the second moto and subsequent return to action captured the hearts and minds and showed what Chad is truly made of. The video clip was a YouTube sensation and made the sport re-cap on television news programs worldwide. Reed’s victory in the first moto and second moto charge scored enough points to keep the Red Plate as the points leader heading into the Pacific Northwest this weekend for the Peterson Cat Washougal National in Washougal, WA.
Round 6 of the CMRC National Championship series heads East from Ontario to Quebec to the Circuit de Ste-Julie for this weekend’s race. In Ontario, the Kini / Red Bull / KTM / IMX / Bel-Ray Racing team of Kieran Leigh and Mason Phillips competed. Phillips used 19-12 moto finishes to an 11th overall, while Leigh used 7-8 moto scores to finish 7th overall. Phillips is currently in 9th and Leigh is in 7th in the overall series standings.
Round 8 of the Rockstar Energy Drink Mx Nationals comes to Moree, NSW for the penultimate round of the series. The Bel-Ray backed Axis 07 currently has 3 of the 4 team riders in the Top 10 in their respective classes. Dylan Peterson is 4th in the Under19s class while Justin McDonald is 6th and Cody Mackie is 9th.
