MSR’s Kevin Windham Podiums in Seattle

  • MSR’s Kevin Windham Podiums in Seattle
Corona, Ca- Kevin Windham came into Seattle this past weekend with something to prove. After posting the fastest lap time of the day, K-Dub continued his winning ways with a heat race victory. The night was only going to get better for Kevin at that point.

At the start of the main, Windham came around the first turn in third. A few laps later he found himself in a battle for his third place position but quickly pulled away and rode smart around the grueling track. Sitting comfortably in the third place position with just a few laps left, Dub came through a rhythm section to see Reed had gone down. He rode by and the rest is history. Windham put his new 2012 MSR Burst gear on the second step of the podium for the first time this season.

Windham stated, “This feels like a win for me. I have been working my butt off all season long and the preparation and hard work finally paid off.” Look for Kevin to be a threat in these final two rounds as he now has some momentum rolling.

About MSR
MSR (Malcolm Smith Racing) started in 1971 when motocross legend Malcolm Smith decided to create a company that manufactured motocross protective gear for dirt bike athletes. Malcolm began by importing nylon-lined throttle and brake cables from Europe, which sold like hotcakes in America and his accessory business, Malcolm Smith Racing products was born. Soon afterwards he began selling jerseys, then boots and finally just about every accessory available for off-road bikes. From that small starting point, it has grown into a multi-million dollar company that not only specializes in motocross apparel, but has also extended its products to dirt bike hard parts, protective armor and lifestyle casuals. MSR is one of the leading manufacturers in the motocross industry today.
