FMF/KTM Announces New Sponsorship from Factory Connection
The FMF-backed KTM Factory Off-Road Racing Team reached outside its internal walls for the first time since 2005 in search of a premiere suspension company. “We switched back to 48mm forks this year which allowed us to outsource a suspension provider to work alongside our WP Suspension technicians to ensure we get the best possible product for our race team,” stated FMF/KTM Racing Team Manager Antti Kallonen. “We found a great fit with Factory Connection.”
He continued, “Factory Connection has been a perfect fit for the FMF/KTM Team in many ways. First and foremost, they have years of industry experience and have brought a wealth of knowledge to our team. Secondly, they have facilities set up across the U.S. and in Canada which help our racing team tremendously. We are always bouncing back and forth between east and west coasts and Factory Connection’s multiple locations help make it easier for us to service our suspension in between race events.”

The collaboration that began between KTM and Factory Connection at the end of the 2010 has already helped FMF/KTM Racing Team rider Kurt Caselli earn a win in the Hare & Hound and WORCS events and it assisted Charlie Mullins as he won the opening round of the GNCC Series. In addition to team riders, Caselli and Mullins, the FMF/KTM Team includes teammates, Mike Brown, Cory Buttrick, Russell Bobbitt and Kailub Russell.
