MXPTV Announces 2011 Midwest Tour Schedule
The MXPTV Midwest Tour, hosted by Tom Bradley and Brittany Newman, will begin under the lights on May 28th at Lincoln Trail Motorsports in Casey, IL. The night racing will be followed by traditional motocross on the 29th and a natural terrain course, with District 17 bonus points, on the 30th.
Coverage then moves down to the southeastern portion of the midwest for the weekend of July 9th and 10th at Horseshoe Bend MX in Owenton, KY. Horseshoe Bend will be running a three race moto format to prepare the amateur riders for the following months Loretta Lynn’s event. From the southeast, the show will move north to Sunset Ridge MX in Walnut, IL for coverage of the Pro/Am racing on September 10th and 11th. A large Pro purse and a top caliber track will make for some of the years fastest, most exciting racing at this event. And as summer comes to a close the Midwest Tour finishes off with back to back weekends of coverage.
On October 23rd the race show will be at Archview MX Park in Washington Park, IL for Archview’s “National Throwdown”. Last year’s Throwdown was stacked with talented riders and this year’s race will have more of the same. The final race show will be at MXP Racing in Columbia, MO on October 30th. This will be a match up between Missouri State and District 18 riders. Bonus points for both Districts’ riders at the event will ensure that every racer is going all out.
