Action Sports Announces $10,000 Pro Class Purse
We will have one “Open” Pro class where the top qualifying riders will go to the “A” Main and race for $1000 to win. The A Main will pay back 12 places with 12th place paying an unheard of $165.00. The riders that qualified next in line that did not make it to the A Main will compete in the “B” Main, which will pay $200 to win and will also payback twelve places. The riders that qualify for the B Main will not have to race against the riders that made the A Main, which will increase their chances of cashing in. Fourteen riders will go to the starting gate in Columbus and twelve in Huntington.
We are increasing our Pro purse to $10,000 and paying back more money to more riders than ever before. We must draw more Pro riders to make this new payback make sense. With these hard economic times we feel that this is the perfect time to give this a try.
This is the opportunity for Pro class riders to affect their own destiny. If we have an increase in our Pro rider turnout we will continue to pay this purse and payback in the future. We will be expanding our arenacross series for 2011 & 2012. As you can see we are trying to earn your support.
