7th Annual DMXS Ride4A-T Raises Nearly $20,000
March 5, 2010, 9:08pm
The 7th Annual DMXS Ride4A-T raised nearly $20,000 on a beautiful February day in Georgia to help fund research for Ataxia Talangiectasia, or A-T, a rare and debilitating childhood disease. We know one of these dollars will eventually be the one that finds a cure and we appreciate all those that attended this year’s event and supported a great cause.
Our charity ride is so dependent on the generosity of volunteers and our industry friends and we want to especially thank Fox Racing, Beeker, and Todd Hicks for their continued support. They have been with us from the very beginning and we could not have a successful event without their guidance and help. Rockstar Makita Suzuki’s Ryan Dungey carried the torch passed down by Ricky Carmichael and wore the familiar Ride4A-T butt patch on his Fox gear in Atlanta to help bring awareness to our event and A-T and we were sincerely impressed with his willingness to do whatever he could for the cause.
On a very special note, we would like to express our sincere admiration for Sharon Richards, Joanne Pryor, and Christina Denny for their angelic help every year in addition to our sponsors and friends: Ricky Carmichael, David Bailey, Bob Hannah, Terri Hannah, Jim Perry, Billy Ursic, Dave Prater, Weege, Ryan Hardwick, Colleen Millsaps, Marina Peters, Roger Larson, Randy Valade, Robb Beams, Grant Langston, Davi Millsaps, Wes Williams, Andrew Short, Nick Wey, Tim Ferry, Evie Ferry, Jammi Robertson, Greg Hammond, Brian Johnson, Kyle Kelly, Amelia Kelly, MTF, Bremen Race Park, Roost MX, Answer, Mountain Motorsports, MX Sports, Fox, Red Bull, Vurb Moto, Vital MX, Suzuki, Yamaha, Makita, Pro Circuit, Racer X, OGIO, Feld Entertainment, Shift, TWMX, and Concept 2 Rowers, Motoendurance.net, and Motocross.com.
