H&H Race Report: Atlanta
March 3, 2010 2:45pm
Atlanta, GA- The Rockstar/Hart & Huntington supercross team rolled into the spacious Georgia Dome in Atlanta to keep building on its recent success. Team riders Matt Boni of Geneva, Florida and Chris Blose of Phoenix, Arizona have been tearing it up recently with Blose inching forward towards the top ten in points.
Both riders transferred directly to the main event via the heat races and when the twenty man gate was full for the main event, hopes were high that Matt and Chris were going to come out charging. Upon completion of the first lap, Blose was 16th, Boni was 14th and their work was cut out for them to move forward on the challenging Atlanta track.
Both racers made team manager Kenny Watson proud as they worked their way through the pack and up near the top ten. Eventually at the end, Blose ended up just outside the top ten in 11th and Boni tangled with another rider on his way through the pack and ended up 13th.
It was a couple of good rides by both of our guys and on the season, Blose is 14th in the points and Boni, after some missed races is slowly creeping up near the top twenty.
As always, the pits were rocking with Rockstar Energy drink being given away, the fans were hanging out and having a good time. The Rockstar Hart & Huntington team is the place to be this year in the supercross pits. Come by this weekend in Daytona, get an autograph and a Rockstar Energy Drink!
