Team Dunlop Fields 11 Riders at AMA Amateur National Championships
Hurricane Mills, Tenn.--Fans of the annual AMA Amateur National Championships at Loretta Lynn's Ranch in Hurricane Mills, Tennessee, July 30-August 4 might have noticed a number of top riders sporting Team Dunlop apparel on the amateur circuit.
"We formed Team Dunlop earlier this year to sponsor select young, up-and-coming 85cc-class motocross and minibike stars," said Dunlop Motorcycle Tires Vice President Mike Buckley. Members of Team Dunlop receive tire support and preferred-treatment service at races, caps and jerseys, and substantial advertising and promotion in national media and on the Dunlop website. "We also contribute $500 to an educational savings fund on behalf of each rider to reinforce the importance of doing well in school," added Buckley.
