  • No Fear Moto X America Tour: Round 3

No Fear Moto X America Tour stop three  — “Red, White & Bruised” — set for Albany Motorsports Park

With the first two No Fear Moto X America Tour having already played the boards to critical acclaim — at Barona Oaks Raceway in Ramona, California and Broome-Tioga in Binghamton, New York — the traveling motocross circus will soon head back out west for round three set to be held at Albany Motorsports Park in Albany, Oregon the weekend of July 14-15, 2007.

Recently the track hosts the popular and highly competitive Western 4-Stroke National Motocross Series. Albany Motorsports Park — located just 60 miles outside of Portland — is a mile-long classic motocross circuit, renowned throughout the Pacific Northwest for its rich, rock and dust-free loam. Featuring small and large double jumps, triple jumps, tabletop jumps and high-speed sweepers, the track has a little bit of something for everyone. In fact three new jumps have just been incorporated into its layout, shooting riders 100-140-feet in distance, at 30-feet above the ground. The Albany Motorsports Park is also a favorite of spectators as not only is the Park blanketed in grass, but the track itself is 100% accessible to fans as they can circulate it with the help of catwalks and tunnels. Fun and family-oriented creature comforts also abound at the venue as basketball courts, swimming pools, flushing toilets and showers are all readily available.

“The Leach family is very excited that No Fear has chosen Albany Motorsports Park for their Pacific Northwest stop of the Moto X America Tour,” commented Robby Leach of the “Red, White & Bruised” round that will commence at the height of summer. “We’re proud of the facility we have created and we’re confident the Moto X America Tour stop here will be successful and popular with riders throughout this region of the nation.”
The No Fear Moto X America Tour offers a unique premise and approach in that, unlike the ultra-competitive, crowded, high-profile U.S. amateur motocross events, the Tour places a primary emphasis on grass roots racing and family fun, featuring racing classifications for riders of all ages and of all skill levels. The Tour also boats several  "first timer" classes to allow inexperienced riders a chance to experience the excitement racing in a safe and relaxed environment.

All in all, the No Fear Moto X America Tour “Red, White & Bruised” event will host 34 classes (seven Pee Wee classes; four 65cc classes; seven 85cc classes; nine Big Bike classes; and seven Veteran classes. Each class will race moto one on Saturday and the second moto on Sunday. Moreover, there will be 85cc and Under and 125cc and Over team Races). Camping will be available (and encouraged) at the Albany venue as contests, games, giveaways and numerous forms of entertainment — a barbeque, tug-of-war contest (for various age groups) and bike-loading contest— are planned for Saturday evening.

The No Fear Moto X America offers Holeshot prizes and awards for every class and riders can also expect great prizes and merchandise at “Red, White & Bruised” from No Fear, FMF, Factory Connection, Spy, OGIO, Fortress, Haro Bikes, So Cal, Renthal, Applied Racing, Xbox, Sobe No Fear Energy, Ready Racing, Etnies and Racer X to name but a few. And while “Red, White & Bruised” race is skewed more towards the youth and amateur classifications, it will also feature divisions for more serious, professional racers, offering up a 150% Pro Payback purse.

Online registration is encouraged as gate pick is based on order of sign-up. Race day registration will also be available.
