Daniel Boone Motocross Park in London KY is celebrating its 15th anniversary and kicking off their 2007 Opening Day Event & Memorial Day Holiday by providing a special THREE-MOTO format just for you guys gearing up for those long regional weekends coming your way in June. In fact, those riders heading through KY on the way to the Mideast Youth Regional may want to take note this special event is set for May 26-28, the weekend prior. It will include a Saturday organized prepped practice from 10AM to 4PM, Bluegrass Series Race Day on Sunday (including three-motos in one very long and rough day for same price any DBMX race day). Memorial Day is planned for more open practice, and Tuesday thru Thursday Track owner Jerry Hebel will keep track open for even more practice for anyone wanting to stay over and continue training for the upcoming Regional in Ohio. Daniel Boone has had a long, rich history producing some of KY’s greatest Loretta Lynn’s competitors, including: Ryan & Pooh Sipes, the infamous Ben Riddle and of course Danville KY’s own….. Tyler Bowers.
That’s not all, the May 27th Race is also Round 5 of the Toyota Trucks Bluegrass Championship MX Series & Round 1 of the Toyota Trucks YZ FREE Ride Series (two lucky riders will take home a FREE YZ85 and YZ250F set to be given-a-way at halftime of the YZ FREE Ride Final Aug 11th at Ballance MotoX Park), and this special holiday weekend event is also a YAMAHA, Tucker Rocky and Gateway Cycles (Kawasaki Dealer Bucks) Contingency Paying Event. Toyota Trucks Representatives will also be present on Saturday and Sunday and are planning lots of give-a-ways and a few other surprises!!
Sound like enough, but just a few more touches: ALL 50cc Bikes will race for FREE, Pro Guys get a shot at the $1,000 Open Expert Purse (guaranteed 10 deep) and new Bluegrass Series Sponsors, Radioactive Energy will be out in full force handing out the “Glow” for FREE on Sunday!!
